About the project
There are still strong gender stereotypes, gender hierarchies and gender inequalities existing in European societies, making it difficult for young women to participate in the same way as men in the labour market, in politics or decision making.
The project takes inspiration from the fact that several Euro-Mediterranean countries, women leaders in various industries, are already taking concrete steps to achieve more sustainable business practices along with a positive social impact, helping the community to create sustainable change through re-thinking, repairing, reusing and recycling.
For this reason, the primary goal of the ELEVATE project is to provide young women with a Program specifically designed to increase their abilities to plan their business using circular economy and sustainability as principles to make their ventures “future proof”.

Ateliere Fără Frontiere
Romania
Ateliere Fără Frontiere is a non-profit organization, established in 2008, which integrates people from vulnerable backgrounds into the labor market in Romania, in a sustainable and environmentally responsible way. Since 2019, AFF is affiliated to Groupe SOS, a global network working to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.

FRAMEWORK is a non-profit cultural association that promotes the continuous improvement and empowerment of individuals and the community, through the establishment of activities for lifelong learning and participation in European initiatives.
The association was born with a strong propensity for international collaboration: we give access to opportunities for exchange with the outside world to individuals and organizations that are still little used to or prone to “European thought”. In fact, we have a network of national and international contacts through which we create partnerships for the implementation of projects and activities (in Italy and abroad) open to everyone.

Women Elevation Malta is dedicated to empowering women through a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem. We provide mentorship, networking, and skill-building programs to dismantle barriers and offer equal opportunities. Our vision is to create a future where women thrive in all roles, supported by resources and tailored programs that promote economic empowerment and shared prosperity across Malta and Europe.
Objectives & Deliverables
1) Enhance young women's personal growth and social integration, boosting their motivation towards self-employment (entrepreneurship) as a means to integrate fully in society, coupled with a need/intention of acquiring the instruments to put their nascent entrepreneurial ideas into execution
2) Produce a complete program involving participants in a set of workshops, guiding participants in a collaborative, learning by doing process
3) Providing networking opportunities with local business organisations and associations will broaden their awareness of market trends and possibilities, seek advice, overcome challenges, and promote a culture of resilience and encouragement
4) Improve young women's ability to create sustainable change in their communities and in their lives, using sustainable entrepreneurship as a means for starting and expanding their businesses, helping them overcome barriers to meaningful integration and enhancing their participation as skilled members of their communities.

Kickoff meeting
On May 14–15, the Elevate project partners gathered in Bucharest for a two-day kick-off meeting. The agenda included site visits to AFF and Concordia, discussions on collaboration and youth engagement, and a hybrid brainstorming session to co-design the support program for young women entrepreneurs. Roles, timelines, and deliverables were defined to launch the project effectively.
Transnational Workshop
The ELEVATE partners gathered in Malta in October 2025 for the 2nd transnational meeting, strengthening collaboration and setting the course for the next project milestones. The team focused on finalizing training modules, launching a vibrant network for young women entrepreneurs, and developing a comprehensive educational toolkit to support learning and mentoring.
